KATE CLARK THERAPY

Ways to work together

I work with high-performing professionals in Northern Virginia and Washington, DC who are thoughtful and capable, yet feel a persistent, often-hidden sense of discontent. Session formats include extended work and intensives, allowing for greater depth and sustained focus.

Weekly Therapy

Weekly therapy is a meaningful, long-term investment. For many clients, deeper patterns emerge gradually across months of consistent work.

Best for:

  • Ongoing support

  • Self-paced, steady exploration

  • Integrating therapy into your weekly routine

Intensives

Intensives often provide the kind of depth and continuity that can take months to reach in weekly therapy.

For many high-functioning clients, this format feels more aligned with how they prefer to work—focused, intentional, and results-oriented.

Best for:

  • Understanding repeating relationship patterns

  • Exploring trauma and early relational experiences in depth

  • Clients who feel “stuck” despite prior therapy

Extended Sessions

Many clients find that 90-minute sessions allow for more meaningful progress in less time, especially when working through complex relational or emotional patterns.

Best for:

  • Initial intake sessions

  • Deeper dives into a well-defined issue or unexplored, recurring feelings

  • Clients who feel limited by the pace of traditional sessions

I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. Following each session, I provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.

If you have out-of-network benefits, I can help you explore whether Thrizer may reduce your out-of-pocket costs.
